Additional grinding-active layers are special coatings on the abrasive that perform additional tasks. For example, they reduce the temperature in the grinding zone or prevent the abrasive from getting clogged.
For dry machining of stainless, heat-resistant steels and nonferrous metals, the use of VSM TOP SIZE is recommended. The additional grinding-active layer increases machining performance while simultaneously reducing the temperature in the grinding zone. This significantly extends the service life of the abrasive.
